All Saints golfers win tourney

BULLARD — The All Saints Trojans captured first place in the Brook Hill Golf Invitational on Monday at Emerald Bay Club.

All Saints combined for a 314 to finish one stroke ahead of Sabine at 315. Nacogdoches captured third at 318, followed by Robert E. Lee at 321.

Andrew Bloch led the Trojans with a 76, while Jackson Smith and Luke Haberle were right behind with 77s. Other golfers were Collin Howell (84) and Charlie Cullen (87).

Nacogdoches’ Colin Frizzell won medalist honors with a 69, Brook Hill’s Hunter Shattuck was second with a 70. Pine Tree’s Bryce Alley took the bronze with a 71. Placing fourth was Devin Jackson of Hallsville with a 73 and REL’s Will Curtis had a 74 for fifth. Sabine’s Jared Streeter had a 75 for sixth.

Other Lee goflers were Will Pollard (80), Ben Harrison (81) and Zach Sampson (86).
