Ronnie Adkinson of Gilmer was the winner of last week's ETFinalScore.com Pigskin Picks contest, thanks to the accuracy of his guess of the score of the Grace vs. Brook Hill game.
Adkinson was one of at least five people to pick the winners of all 10 games correctly. The people who were tied had their predictions of the tiebreaker game analyzed by computer. The algorithm that determines the accuracy of tiebreaker scores showed that Adkinson's pick was the closest to the actual final score of Grace 48, Brook Hill 14. Adkinson's predicted score was Grace 49, Brook Hill 11.
Finishing second through fifth, respectively, were Andree Thompson of Big Sandy, Randy Cunningham of Baytown, Bruce Wood of Lindale and Bobby Bryant of Mandeville, La. While they all picked Grace to beat Brook Hill, their scores were not as close as Adkinson's.
