Randy Harrell of Winnsboro was the winner of the next-to-last week of Pigskin Picks contest action on ETFinalScore.com, thanks to a tiebreaker.
Harrell was one of at least five contestants to correctly predict winners in 9 of 10 games, but won first place overall thanks to the accuracy of his pick in the Whitehouse-John Tyler tiebreaker game.
Harrell predicted John Tyler to defeat 42-35. The actual score was John Tyler 45, Whitehouse 38, and Harrell's prediction was the most accurate guess among the five players, according to the computer algorithm that breaks ties in the Pigskin Picks contest.
Finishing second through fifth, respectively, were Ignacio Acevedo of Canton, Scott Myers of Mineola, Drew Swinney of Tyler and Dave Morse of Sanger. While they all picked John Tyler to beat Whitehouse, their scores were not as close as Harrell's.
