PRINCETON - Van scored six-straight touchdowns to overcome an early deficit and rally to a 48-34 victory over Princeton Friday night.
Vandal quarterback Garrett Moseley had 505 total yards with five touchdowns in sparking his team to a 2-0 record.
Moseley threw for 340 yards and three TDs on 13 of 27 passing attempts. He rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.
Van amassed 596 yards of total offense.
Moseley threw TD passes of 23 (Elijah Rankine), 49 (Gus Brewer) and Bray Doring (79).
Doring had three catches for 115 yards with Brewer adding two receptions for 99 yards. Rankine had four snags for 97 yards.
Moseley had two TD runs of three yards each and a third of 4 yards.
Other scores for the Vandals were by Marcos Orozco (2-yard run) and Davonta Johnson (5 run). Caleb McKinney kicked six PATs.
Princeton quarterback Brendon Strickland hit on 17 of 36 pass attempts for 256 yards and two TDs. He hit Philip Mayfield (2 yards) and Tristan Gee (62).
The Vandals visit rival Lindale on Friday.
