TJC rolls by Capitol City

Tajuan Agee hit for 19 points and TiAndre Jackson-Young added 17 as the Apaches scored an 87-69 victory over Capitol City Prep on Sunday at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

Tyler Junior College improves to 4-0 on the basketball season.

TJC will play again on Monday, hosting Northwestern State JV at 7 p.m.

Two other Apaches were in double figures scoring - Micah Thomas (11) and Lukas Bergang (10).

Tyree Spurlock led Capitol City with 20 points, qhile Marquese Webb added 18 (all on 3-pointers).

The Crusaders are from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Capitol City Prep Academy is a sports organization that houses Youth Basketball Programs (second through 12th grade), Post Graduation Basketball Program (Capitol City Crusaders) and the new Military Developmental League team (Baton Rouge Crusaders). ‚Äč
