Harmony blasts Lone Oak, clinches first 10-0 season in school history

HARMONY - The Harmony Eagles wrapped up the first perfect regular season in school history on Friday, rolling to a 33-6 win over Lone Oak in District 8-3A Division II play.

Harmony improves to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in winning the district championship.

Spencer Seahorn scored a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Eagles, who led 6-0 after one quarter and 19-6 at the half before putting things away with two third-quarter touchdowns.

Seahorn got the Eagles on the board with a 1-yard run at the 5:22 mark of the opening quarter, and the Eagles extended the lead with :38 to play in the half on a 7-yard run by Nick Hoelscher and a Spencer Yates extra point.

Konrad Eichelman returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown with 5:32 to play in the half, but Lone Oak avoided the shutout with a 75-yard fumble return for a touchdown from Tavin Ramm with 1:14 showing on the second quarter clock.

Seahorn’s 1-yard run with 8:54 to play pushed the Eagle lead to 25-6, and D.J. Click put the game on ice with a 5-yard TD run and a two-point conversion with 3:41 left in the third period.
