Chapel Hill stops Harmony

NEW CHAPEL HILL - Karlea Duhon hit for 14 points and Ty’Liyah Moore added 12 as the Chapel Hill Lady Bulldogs defeated Harmony, 42-37, on Monday in a girls basketball game.

Katie Grace Seahorn led the Lady Eagles with 11 points.

Both teams will be competing in the Great East Texas Shootout beginning Thursday in Brownsboro.

Chapel Hill is scheduled to play Marshall at 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the Intermediate gym. The Lady Bulldogs will play either Malakoff or Whitehouse in the second round. A win means they will play at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Junior High School gym, however a loss means they will play at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Elementary School gym.

Harmony is scheduled to play Bullard at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Junior High gym. The Lady Eagles will play either Athens or All Saints in the second round – a win means they will play at 5 p.m. Thursday (JH), while a loss means they will play at 8 a.m. Friday (Elementary).
