NEW BOSTON — Liberty-Eylau outscored Gilmer 22-0 in the second quarter en route to a 54-29 victory in the Class 3A girls area basketball playoffs Thursday night at New Boston High School. The No. 14 Lady Leopards advance to play Crandall, a 59-46 winner over Mineola, in the regional quarterfinals.

Jasmine Jones scored 12 points to lead Gilmer, which completed the season with a 21-11 record.
