WILLS POINT — The Wills Point Tigers opened their baseball season with a 15-0 three-inning win over Dallas Samuel on Monday.

Brett Bushnell and Chase Pemberton combined for the one-hitter. Bushnell had five strikeouts, while Pemberton had three.

Pemberton contributed two doubles, while Case Harper had a two-bagger and a single.

Garrett Simmons and Hunter Wilcoxson each had two hits. Wills Point hosts its tournament beginning on Thursday. The Tigers meet Ferris at 6 p.m.
