Fastbreak: The Lady Pilots pass the ball with the best, ranking third nationally in assists per game (17.5). Henry hit for 18 points and added four assists in an earlier win against TC. The Lady Steers trail Southwestern Assemblies of God by one game for the final postseason tournament position. LSU-S enters the game tied for second with Wiley in the RRAC.

Fastbreak: The No. 21 Pilots put up 91.9 points per game, second in the NAIA. TC held Milum, the nation’s second-leading scorer, nine points below his average in the first meeting, and an 0-for-6 effort on 3-point attempts. The Steers rank sixth nationally in defending the 3-point shot (.295). … The Pilots have won 13 of 15 since the earlier loss to the Steers and five straight. The Steers stretched their win-streak to five games as well with Monday’s clutch 94-69 win over defending regular season conference champion Our Lady of the Lake, thanks to a 21-point, 20-rebound effort by Jones. The Steers received three votes in the latest NAIA poll, tying them for 34th. A total of 32 teams make the NAIA tournament field. LSU-S won last year’s postseason tournament and advanced to the national quarterfinals.
