Lee takes on Longview
The Robert E. Lee basketball teams face a critical district test today against Longview as the Lady Raiders and Red Raiders continue their quest for the postseason.
The Lady Raiders (13-17, 3-6 in District 12-5A) are home with tip-off set for 7 p.m. at the REL Varsity Gymnasium. A win over the Lady Lobos (12-15, 4-5) would move Lee into a tie for fourth place and the final district playoff spot.
The Red Raiders (18-8, 5-3) are currently in fourth place with Longview (15-12, 6-2) in second place. That game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at Lobo Coliseum in Longview.
The Lady Raiders are coming off consecutive losses to district front runners Rockwall and Mesquite.
Longview defeated Rockwall-Heath (60-46) on Friday.
The Lady Lobos defeated Lee in the teams first meeting, 60-57.
