Tyler Junior College’s basketball doubleheader with Paris was moved to Sunday due to a blown transformer, TJC head athletic trainer Eddy McGuire said.

The games were scheduled for Saturday at Wagstaff Gymnasium and will now be played at 2 (women) and 4 (men) p.m. on Sunday.

The Apache Ladies (8-11, 1-5 Region XIV) are trying to break a three-game losing skid. The Lady Dragons enter with a record of 6-12 and 1-5.

The Apaches have won six straight to improve to 15-4 overall and 6-3 in league play.

Paris has started to get things going as the Dragons scored a 62-58 upset of Kilgore on Wednesday.

The Dragons are 10-11 and 4-6.

After Sunday’s games, both TJC teams are on the road on Wednesday, the women play San Jacinto in Houston (5:30 p.m. start), the men play Bossier Parish in Sheveport, La. (7 p.m. start).
