Apache Ladies take win


KILGORE β€” Shernise Robertson hit for 21 points and Apache Ladies connected on 20 of 25 free attempts as Tyler Junior College defeated Southwestern Christian College, 81-52, Tuesday in the Ozarka Basketball Classic at Masters Gym.

The Apache Ladies (6-7) play Arkansas Baptist today at 1 p.m. at Kilgore College.

Bria Emanuel added 17 points for the Apache Ladies, while Kim Munoz contributed 12 points.

Alyssa Weathers led SWCC with 12 points.

In the second women’s game, Arkansas Baptist defeated Kilgore, 45-38.

In the men’s game, Kilgore won over Houston CC-Southwest, 93-52.
