BETHEL — Preston Anderson hit for 45 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Cayuga to a 68-66 win over Palestine Westwood Monday.

Chandler Rigdon added 12 points for the Wildcats.

Chris Thompson led the Panthers with 30 points.

On Saturday, Cayuga finished third in the Tenaha Holiday Hoops Tournament, besting host Tenaha 65-58.

Anderson and Deon Shofner made all-tournament.

Anderson led Cayuga with 29 points.

Jacobi Ivy led Tenaha with 16 points, while Chavis Gregory had 15.

DeAaron Roland made all-tournament for the Tigers.

GILMER — Chapel Hill, using a balanced scoring attack, continued its hot streak with a 91-42 win over Gilmer on Monday in a District 17-3A basketball game.

DJ Sammons and Michael Harris paced the Bulldogs with 12 points apiece, while Jordan McDonald (11), Kavondre Wallace (10) and Julius Hill (10) were all in double figures as well.
